China confirms that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un traveled to Beijing and met with President Xi Jinping. It is Kim's first known trip out of North Korea since he became that country's leader.

There were more protests in Sacramento over the police shooting death of an unarmed black man, Stephen Clark. Clark's brother disrupted a city council meeting Tuesday, urging demonstrators to chant Clark's name.

Immigration officials say federal agents raided a house in Phoenix where suspected human smuggling was underway. More than 30 people were detained on immigration-related charges.

And sports utility vehicles are making a big splash at the New York auto show. Volkswagen introduced its latest SUV Tuesday, while Cadillac's first compact SUV made its public debut.
