2.Suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is sorry. He apologized to the NFL, his team and his young fans for his involvement in a dogfighting operation. Vick pleaded guilty in federal court and told reporters he takes responsibility for his actions.

3.Federal regulators are ordering inspections of the wing slats on all newer Boeing 737 jetliners. The inspections come after findings about the cause of a fire that destroyed a China Airlines 737 in Japan last week.

4.The death toll continues to rise in Greece. At least 63 people are dead as dozens of fires roar across the parched landscape. Greece has budgeted more than 274 million dollars for an immediate aid to those ravaged by the fires.
