California and seven other states hold primaries Tuesday. The results could loom large as Republicans and Democrats battle for control of Congress this fall.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's prosecutors have asked federal judge to put former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in jail. They filed papers alleging that Paul contacted two witnesses and tried to influence their testimony.

Saudi Arabia has issued driver's licenses to ten women. The kingdom is preparing to lift the world's only ban on women driving in three weeks.

And a Hawaii county spokeswoman says the Kilauea volcano has destroyed at least 117 homes. Officials have been trying to count homes from the air. But volcanic steam makes it hard to see.
