It’s the beginning of a two-month school break in Uganda and for poor families in the Catkin Slum getting food for their kids will only get harder.But many children can get meals at the Somme chess Academy funded by Samaritans.The academy provides lunch every day, along with the chance for children to develop skills by playing chess.

这是乌干达为期两个月的学校假期的开始。对于卡特金贫民窟的贫困家庭来说，为他们的孩子提供食物会变得更加艰难。但是许多孩子可以在由撒马利亚人资助索姆国际象棋学院里吃饭。该学院每天都为孩子们提供午餐，同时孩子们还有机会通过下棋来发展技能。

Founder and head coach robotic attendee who grew up in the slum says the academy has restored hope for many of these children.This is special because who before thought they had nothing to achieve in life because of the culture, because of the society, they’ve been much lazed.Growing them up just through become mothers. Now dreaming big to big are professionals in different fields. Naga Gloria, an orphan who was abandoned by her mother when she was 11 is now Uganda’s first player.

To be a Woman’s World Chess Federation master, the third highest ranking in the chess world, the journey has not been easy for the 17-year-old.Because there is a time I wanted to quit. When I used to go to intelligent and I mean that I used to come back when I’ve lost. Because my my questions told me you must go.Maybe we’ll get a contest class that I hate to.But even if I did mess at I couldn’t reach to age. So my my hope was done.In 2014, the Academy created a special program for disabled slum children. Then it’s Mesa get started playing chess in 2004.

And in August represented Uganda at the 43rd Chess Olympiad in the United States winning a bronze medal.Chess changed my life I can use hands to play chess, even mouth and I not to play to do computers.In 2010, some chess Academy sent 14 year-old Fu Numatic to the 39th Chess Olympiad in Russia.A story was later turned into a movie entitled queen of Kuwait.Perhaps one day with one move at a time,Uganda was not just produced chess movie stars,but the next Gary custom, Bobby Fischer had amassed money for VA news Kampala.
