The former head of a US Drug Distribution Company has been indicted on two counts of conspiracy. Former Rochester Drug Co-operative CEO Laurence Doud III surrendered to authorities Tuesday in New York City. Federal prosecutors say these are the first criminal charges ever to be filed against a drug company executive stemming from the opioid crisis.

Amal Clooney called for the establishment of an international court to try ISIS members accused of sexual violence. Clooney, a human rights lawyer, told the UN Security Council Tuesday that crimes committed by ISIS against women and girls are "unlike anything we have witnesses in modern times."

A 24-year-old suburban Milwaukee man has come forward to claim a $768 million Powerball jackpot, the third largest in US lottery history. Manuel Franco says he screamed for about 5 or 10 minutes after realizing he won.

Firefighters in Florida used technology to rescue 8 ducklings from a storm drain. The rescuers used the cellphone video of the mother duck quacking to lure the babies to the end of the drain. The ducklings were pulled out one at a time and returned to their mother.
