Despite plenty of pushback, the White House is doubling down on President Donald Trump's threat to slap a 5% tariff on Mexican imports unless Mexico does more to stop migrants from coming across the US border. The move has US manufacturers worried, and stocks tumbled Friday on Wall Street.

A judge in St. Louis has issued an order allowing Missouri's only abortion clinic to continue to provide the service. The clinic is operated by Planned Parenthood. Missouri's Health Department is against renewing its license.

The search continues for 21 people still missing after this week's deadly tour boat accident in Budapest, Hungary. The captain of one of the vessels has been detained while police investigate. Seven people died in the accident.

Towns across northern France are getting set to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, when allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on the way to victory over the Nazis. Rows and rows of white crosses and Stars of David remind the world of the sacrifices of thousands of US and allied troops who died during the invasion.
