Incoming British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to take office Wednesday. He is putting together his cabinet and says it will reflect the diversity of modern Britain.

Immigration authorities in Texas have released a US-born 18-year-old, after detaining him for more than 3 weeks. Agents apprehended US citizen Francisco Galicia, suspecting that he had entered the country illegally.

And Senators Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren along with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio rallied with airport airline workers near Washington DC. All three Democratic presidential candidates joined the workers' call for higher wages and affordable health care.
