2. President Bush's choice to replace Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General has been confirmed by the Senate.The vote on Michael Mukasey was 53 to 40. Mukasey was confirmed despite concerns by some that he wouldn't say whether he thinks waterboarding is torture.

3. It's day 2 of O. J. Simpson's preliminary hearing in Las Vegas over a reported armed robbery. The hearing is deciding whether Simpson and two other men should stand trial on 12 criminal charges.

4. A Utah police officer says he clocked the driver of this Toyota doing 95. But when he approached the vehicle, he found out why the guy and his wife were in a hurry. The wife was minutes away from giving birth. The officer put on rubber gloves and helped deliver a healthy baby.
