Michael Vick is starting his time behind bars. That's according to a US marshal and court documents. Vick was scheduled to be sentenced next month on a federal dogfighting conspiracy charge. But documents show Vick decided to turn himself into authorities of the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia in anticipation of a prison term. He pleaded guilty to running a dogfighting operation out of his home in southern Virginia. He could face up to five years in prison. In addition, he faces similar dogfighting charges in the state courts. Vick was an all-star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons when his legal troubles began. An arbitrator ruled he will have to return nearly 20 million dollars in bonus money to the team which says he used some of the money to bankroll the dogfighting.
