Tens of thousands rallied Saturday in cities across the globe to honor George Floyd and voice their support for the Black Lives Matter movement. In Washington. D.C, authorities expected up to 200-thousand people, the city's largest demonstration yet.

The protests swelled as George Floyd was mourned in his North Carolina hometown, where hundreds lined up to squeeze into a church to pay their respects. A public viewing was held mid-day, followed by a private but broadcast memorial service.
