Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has vowed to do better to protect the data of its one billion users worldwide. He's called the privacy scandal that's engulfing his company a 'major breach of trust'. Mr Zuckerberg has also announced a suite of new security measures and an audit of third-party apps.

The department store Myer has denied its staff are guilty of racially profiling an aboriginal boy in Perth. Shem Garlett says he was shopping at the department store with his 16-year-old son and left him alone in the change rooms when up to ten staff and security guards co?nverged on the teen. Myer claims it was a misunderstanding and has apologised to the family.

Health authorities are warning about a surge of illegal cosmetic clinics operating in Australia. The ABC has obtained vision of recent raids on Sydney beauty salons. They were caught using products illegally imported from China, Korea and Japan, including anti-wrinkle injections and high strength anaesthetics.
