Shipments of the coronavirus vaccine developed by American drugmaker Pfizer and Germany's Biontech arrived in the U.K. Sunday, just days after their authorization for emergency use. Around 800,000 doses of the vaccine are expected to be in place for the start of country's immunization program on Tuesday.

Venezuelans headed to the polls Sunday to cast their vote for members of the National Assembly - a vote championed by President Nicolas Maduro but rejected as fraud by the country's most influential opposition politicians. Maduro seeks to pack the Assembly with members of his United Socialist Party of Venezuela. And if successful, would then capture the last government institution out of his reach.
