John Edwards has vowed to keep running. Meanwhile John McCain said his party's race is still competitive despite his win in South Carolina. Rudi Giuliani says he is ready for Florida.

3.Gaza City is dark. Palestinian officials say the territory's only electrical plant shut down because Israel blocked the shipment of fuel. Human rights groups and UN agency condemned the move. Israel blockaded Gaza Thursday in a move to pressure militants who fired rockets across the border.

4.The frigid cold has socked in the northeast. From Washington D.C. to Maine, temperatures are low and wind chill numbers are even lower. Caribou, Maine could see minus 35 degrees tonight.
