Residents of Acapulco spent the day cleaning up following a magnitude 7.0 quake Tuesday night that left one person dead and shook much of southern Mexico.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered about ten miles northeast of Acapulco.

The World Health Organization is calling on wealthy countries with large supplies of coronavirus vaccines to refrain from offering booster shots until the end of the year.

The health organization says while 70 percent of high income countries have vaccinated 40 percent of their populations or more,
