1.New York’s Jewish community as well as a mediation center in Virginia are in mourning after they both lost members of their community in the terror attacks in India. A rabbi from New York and his wife were killed at a Jewish center in Mumbai while a Virginian man and his daughter were gunned down at a hotel there.

2.Indian commandos are still battling militants holed up in a hotel in Mumbai. Gunfire could be heard through the night there as they tried to flush out the remaining terrorists.

3.It's been a rather bleak black Friday. At least three people have been killed at shopping centers in the U.S. A Wal-Mart employee died after he was trampled by overanxious customers in New York and two people have been killed in a shooting at a Toys “R” Us in California.

4.The oldest woman in the world has died. Edna Parker was 115 when she passed away Wednesday at a nursing home in Indiana. The title now falls to a Portuguese woman who was born back in 1893.
