President Bush is warning Russia that its conflict with Georgia could hurt relations between Washington and Moscow. Russia is taking the fight deeper into the former Soviet Republic, bombing an airbase in the Georgian capital and blockading seaports.

But in the midst of the Georgia-Russia conflict, an Olympic embrace. Take a look. One of Georgia's athletes hugged one of Russia's competitors after the two won the Olympic bronze and silver medals in a women’s air pistol competition. The rivals hugged and kissed each other on the medal podium. They face each other again in another pistol competition later this week.

And other Olympic news. There were no surprises on the hardwood today for the US men's basketball team, the Redeem Team, as we are calling them took care of host nation China with ease, 101-70. Next up for the team USA is Angola on Tuesday. Meanwhile swimmer Michael Phelps showed off his newest gold medal to President Bush after he shattered his own world record in the 400-Meter Individual Medley. Phelps will be back in the pool tonight for the 200-meter free style. And 41-year-old Dara Torres has won the 10th Olympic medal of her career, swimming the anchor leg of the 400-Meter Freestyle Relay. The US team took the silver behind the Netherlands.

Affiliate WMC in Mississippi is reporting 2 people were killed when a bus flipped over earlier today near the town of Tunica. It happened at the intersection of Highway 61 in Casino Strip Boulevard. At least 7 medical helicopters are on the ground to take other passengers to a local hospital. The bus was affiliated with Harrah's Casino. No word yet on what caused the bus to overturn.

John Edwards's former mistress Rielle Hunter will not seek a paternity test for her five-month-old daughter. Speaking through her attorney, Hunter says she wishes to maintain her privacy and the privacy of her child. Tabloids have been reporting that the former presidential candidate fathered Hunter's baby, but Edwards denies the claim despite admitting to the affair. Friday Edwards admitted to an extramarital affair back in 2006, calling it (quote) “a serious error in judgment” and (quote) “his admission came after months of public denials”.
