A fight between two women at a Toys "R" Us checkout in Palm Desert, California ended with two men dead. Police say the two men intervened to break up the fight. They began arguing then pulled out their guns and shot one another. No one else was hurt. Police say the argument was not over a toy.

And the crew of the space shuttle Endeavor is waiting on their official go-ahead from mission control to head home.
