2. Space Shuttle Discovery is back on Earth, landing at Cape Canaveral in Florida after a 13-day mission to the International Space Station. The touchdown happened a little late because of cloudy and windy weather.

3. Protesters take to the streets of London ahead of the G20 summit of world leaders. Marchers say they want governments to solve the economic crisis in the interests of working people.

4. Blizzards and snowdrifts stranded some 1200 passengers on five trains in Russia for two days. Russian news agency say drifts are 13 feet high but those on board have food and water.
