1. Health officials say the number of deaths associated with the swine flu outbreak in Mexico is rising. Eighty-one people now dead because of the strain, another 1,300 have gotten sick. The World Health Organization says the outbreak has “pandemic potential”.

2. Authorities in Georgia continue to search for a college professor after they say he killed his ex-wife and two others. Fifty-seven-year-old George Zinkhan is a marketing professor at the University of Georgia. Police say he shot the three outside a community theatre. Zinkhan was last seen driving a red Jeep Liberty.

3. Fans and colleagues are remembering actress Bea Arthur who passed away on Saturday. Arthur is best known for her role on the shows “Maude” and “the Golden Girls”. Arthur was 86. She is survived by her sons and two granddaughters.

4. The NFL draft resumed this morning for round three through seven. Round one was highlighted by the selection of two quarterbacks: The Lion used the first pick to grab Matthew Stafford, then with the fifth pick, the New York Jets traded up to take USC quarterback Mark Sanchez.
