访谈录 2008-11-30&12-01 采访和奥巴马一起打球的兄弟(在线收听

You know, I’ve known Barack maybe 12, 15 years. He is really a good ballplayer. I think there's a part of him that represents the next generation, and part of that is, you know, he is a guy likes to go out and shoot some hoops. What I’ve learned through this campaign is that he is in much better shape, than a lot of us. Just personally I’ve never seen anything in my life as grueling as, you know, the long primary that he went through announcing general election. We've tried to get keep up  this tradition, you know, playing ball, you know, wherever he is in the country he really appreciated it, you know having his friends, show up in north Carolina or Pennsylvania or California, kinda felt like we were helping the effort and nobody wants to be the guy who trips him, you know gives him a fat lip. It’s not a political commentary, but he is a leftie. The book on him defensively as you wanna make him go right.

And Barack is one of those leftie-lefties, so he likes to go left. He’s developed a little bit of a crossover dribble, so he used to be, you can make him go right and he picked it up after a few dribbles. He said publicly that he intends to install a court for court gym in the White House and like the rest of his campaign promises I’m going to expect to hold him to it. And I don’t know what Inauguration Day is gonna be like exactly but it would not surprise me at all that we don't find a way to get in, you know, a few jump shots.
