3. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has broken her right elbow. Clinton was on her way to the White House when she fell. Surgery is expected within the next couple of days.

4. President Barack Obama's fly-swatting act isn't sitting well with PETA. The animal rights group says it wants the president to try to take a more humane attitude the next time he's bothered by a fly.
