Hello I'm Melissa long here at the CNN center in Atlanta, with a look at some of the stories that are happening NOW IN THE NEWS on this Wednesday June 24th.

Iranian officials extended yesterday's deadline to file complaints about the disputed election, the new deadline---Tuesday. At the same time Iran yesterday set a swearing-in date for Mohamoud Ahmadinejad. It will happen between July 26th and August 19th. They also created a special court to try jailed protesters. And just this morning Iran's supreme leader said they won't give in to pressure over the election results.

A four-year-old girl that's been missing for more than three weeks will be reunited with her grandmother soon. US marshals found Haley Donaldson safe yesterday at a Christian retreat in California. They say her mom and her mom's boyfriend took her there.

The military is making a move to defend against cyber attacks and prepare for cyber warfare. Defense Secretary Robert Gates is forming a new military cyber command center in Maryland. Military has about 15, 000 networks and seven million computers to protect. The center should be ready to go by the end of next year.

Thousands of grasshoppers invading a home? That's a Utah family that tried insecticide but these grasshoppers returned. A scientist for the state Agriculture Department says the grasshoppers are attracted to nearby wetlands and the family here describing their battle against the bugs.

Woman: We can't go in through the front door, we can't open the garage door to park our vehicles,
Child: It's getting annoying coming out our back door instead of the front door.
Woman: Well I vacuumed a couple and I just squashed a couple (laughs)
Child: Step on 'em

The scientist says the grasshoppers could be a problem for the next three summers.
