1. The Pentagon says the captured American soldier shown in this Taliban video is a 23-year-old from Idaho. Bowe Bergdahl vanished nearly three weeks ago from his base in eastern Afghanistan. In the video, he's heard saying he's scared he won't be able to go home.

2. The adult daughter of a slain Florida couple known for adopting 13 special needs children says she and her husband plan to take care of the kids. Twenty-six-year-old Ashley Markham told the Pensacola News Journal it was her mother's wish.

3. Mark Sanford says he’s turning to God to change him into a more humble and effective leader. Several South Carolina newspapers published an opinion piece by their state's governor. In it, Sanford writes, the weeks after admitting his affair were like attending his own funeral and he's thankful for the perspective.

4. And three weeks after the death of Michael Jackson, this group of fans in Peru is paying tribute. They performed the famous choreography to Jackson's "Thriller" at a cemetery just north of the capital.
