1. The reality TV contestant wanted for the murder of his ex-wife has been found dead. Ryan Jenkins' body was found in a Canadian hotel, dead from apparent suicide. Police say Jenkins killed then mutilated Jasmine Fiore whose body was found last week, stuffed in a suitcase outside of Los Angeles.

 2. Today is the final day of the "Cash for Clunkers" program. The government announced the three-billion-dollar program would end tonight at 8 o'clock, two weeks earlier than expected. Car owners have been able to trade in their gas guzzlers for up to a 4,500-dollar rebate toward a more fuel-efficient vehicle.

 3. Bill is no longer a hurricane. The storm that battered the East Coast with strong surf and winds has lost its tropical characteristics. The storm is blamed for two deaths. A seven-year-old girl died after being pulled from the water in Maine. And another swimmer died off the coast of Florida.

 4. President Barack Obama and his family are on vacation on Martha’s Vineyard and asking the public to keep their distance. The White House says the president has no plans for any public events this week. He's also asked the journalists not take any pictures of his two daughters unless they are with him.
