1. The Los Angeles county coroner's finding that Michael Jackson's death was a homicide could eventually lead to criminal charges for Jackson's personal doctor. Doctor Conrad Murray told investigators he gave Jackson a mix of drugs to treat the pop star's insomnia in the hours before his death.

2. NASA will try again Wednesday morning to launch the shuttle Discovery. The Space Agency had scrubbed Tuesday morning's launch because of thunderstorms. Discovery will carry seven astronauts as well as thousands of pounds of space station supplies to the International Space Station.

3. An Associated Press source says President Barack Obama plans to nominate Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to a second term. Obama will make the announcement today during a break from his vacation on Martha's Vineyard.

4. The auto industry will continue to try and lure customers in without the help of "Cash for Clunkers". The government program which gave auto sales the joys ended last night. Through Monday, dealers are reportedly selling more than 600,000 vehicles in just a month for the government rebates.
