A qualifying round shall be held in field events
in which the number of athletes is too large to allow the competition
to be conducted satisfactorily in a single round (final).
When a qualifying round is held, all athletes shall compete in,
and qualify through, that round.

can be positioned at any point from that directly above the back
end of the box to a point 80cm in the direction of the landing area.

he requires for his first attempt and this position shall be recorded.
If subsequently an athlete wants to make any changes,

运动员可要求将横杆向落地区方向移动，这样距离是从横杆最接近运动员边缘处测量到插斗末端为止，横杆向落地区方向的移动距离不得超过80厘米。
