2. Italian prosecutors are asking for a life sentence for accused American murderer Amanda Knox. They say she and two others killed her roommate during a sex game. She denies that and says they were friends.

3. Britain's prime minister has got a first-hand look at the floods that have ravaged the country's northern Lake District. Friday was the wettest day in history there when more than a foot of rain fell. At least one person has been killed by the high water.

4. You can add the city of Chicago to the list of those that mourning the coming end of the Oprah Winfrey Show. Residents and officials say her show helped revitalize part of the downtown, and they fear what will happen when it ends in 2011.
