1.Tiger Woods is still in Florida as his charity golf tournament is set to tee off on the other side of the country. Yesterday Woods released a statement on his website apologizing for what he called transgressions. The report-announced weekly magazine links Woods to a Los Angeles cocktail waitress. She claimed the two had an affair in the past 31 months.

2.Parts of North and South Carolina are hoping to dodge major flooding as the storm system moves up the East Coast. Meteorologists say nearly three inches of rain have already fallen in parts of western North Carolina and more could be on the way.

3.The White House party crashers who say they aren’t have turned down an invitation to testify at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing looking into the incident. A spokesman for Tareq and Michaele Salahi says the couple already have given information to Congress and the Secret Service.

4.Big Christmas tree of Rockefeller Center is now lit up. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg lit the tree last night, tens of thousands of people packed the streets around the giant tree to catch performances by Aretha Franklin, Shakira, and (?can’t be catched).
