Congress has a new investigation going on. Committee is trying to figure out whether the Fort Hood army shootings could have been prevented. 2 the reasons why: 1, there is a 2-year memo that's getting a lot of attention. It reportedly says Nidal Hassan, the man accused the shootings had bad judgement on what is very professional in his work in his army phychologist. 2, Some of the doctors who worked with Hassan say he was known have extreme religious views. So Congress's investigation is looking into whether army officers paid enought attention as this reports. This is the only investigation in the Fort Hood shootings. "The department of Defence will conduct to seperat review to ensure the safety and health of DOD employees and their families. We are under this process with any preconcieved notions. However, it's prudent to determine it immediately whether there are internal weaknesses or procedural short comings in the department that could make us vulnerable in the future.

"This is your captain. We are gonna be delay" Not something you want to hear in the plane. Interesting reason for yesterday's delay though--a computer glitch. A system in Atlanta Georgia and Salt Lake city, Utar went down for 5 hours yesterday morning. It was unable to automatically set up flight planes for planes, so air traffic controllers had to do it themselves which takes longer. Not a safety problem according to the Federal Aviation Administration, but a serious efficiency problem that led delays and canclations across the country.

The states also cutting down on what it spends all because of its budget. The issue is running out of money. Officals say they will increase the // financial aid, they give to some low and middle income students though. //was in the scene of protest.
