1.  Destroyed, devastated, that's the report from the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, a powerful 7.0-magnitude quake rocked the city on Tuesday, collapsing everything from simple shacks to the national palace.

2.  The Red Cross estimates up to three million people are affected. U.S and other countries are now scrambling to get relief to Haiti. American disaster teams are being deployed.  Other countries like Mexico and Venezuela also are sending workers and relief supplies. Haitian musician Wyclef Jean is urging fans to donate to earthquake relief. 

3.  Police in suburban Atlanta say 2 people have been killed, 3 others injured after a shooting at a truck rental office. Police also say they have analone gunman in custody. He was arrested about a mile away from the shooting scene.

4.  President Barack Obama and Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid meet face to face today. But the Senate’s controversy old comments about president’s race will not be the topic. Instead, Reid and other Democratic congressional leaders will be meeting with Obama to discuss negotiations over a final health care reform bill.
