1. "Very hazardous and nearly impossible". That is how forecasters and government officials near Washington D.C. are describing what trouble will be like tonight. The mid-Atlantic is bracing for a storm that could dump up to two feet of snow in certain parts. Most flights and trains have already been canceled.

2. The president of Toyota has apologized for recent problems with both brakes on Priuses and accelerator problems with several other models. Toyota's chief announced this morning that the company will set up a committee to raise quality controls.

3. A spokesman for Michael Jackson's doctor says Conrad Murray and his lawyers are fed up with waiting for the district attorney's office to make its next move. Murray is expected to surrender today whether he's charged or not. It’s believed Murray will be charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with Jackson's death.

4. The L.A. County Coroner says actress Brittany Murphy died from pneumonia but prescription drug intoxication was also a factor. The coroner says all the drugs ingested were prescription medications, but declined to say what types of drugs were involved.
