2. A pitcher for a northern California high school has medically induced coma after being hit in the head by a 130-mile-an-hour line-drive. The incident has reignited the push to ban metal bats that are still used in the high school and college level but banned in the majors.

 

3. Houston-Metro has released surveillance video from inside a bus showing the moment it crashed to a light rail train Monday. Nineteen people were hurt. Metro says the bus driver ran a red light.

 

4. A documentary that’s being aired on a French TV channel is suggesting there might not be any limit to what people will watch. The focus is on a big game show, in which participants are told to deliver increasingly powerful electric shocks. Most do until the man, really an actor, appears to die.
