Wanna give your workout a kick? Then check out some of the new fitness technology on display, at the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Trade Show. This anti-gravity treadmill makes you feel like you are running in space.

“We have marathon runners that have gone to Beijing and have trained in this for hours at a time to increase their training volume and also to minimize their stress-related injures, stress fractures, shrinked bones and so forth.”

How about working out inside a video game? You can do just that in the X-arcade.

“Yeah.”

“Extremely high-tech. We’re combining video games and fitness together. So users have to use their bodies to be active. So you control the video game. You're actually what we called the human joystick.”

This new eco-treadmill allows you to take care of the environment while you are taking care of your body.

“It is the first completely self-powered treadmill. It allows us to not have to plug in and draw electricity based on our patented design. We are able to actually recharge a battery by the user.”

“Any other takers? Don't be shy. ”

The TRX suspension trainer leverages the user's weight to allow for maximum results.

“How about one more?”

Anyway the human body wants to move, the TRX will accommodate it and then allow you to load resistance on to it with your body weight and train that till repetition makes you stronger and better able to perform.

This machine could help you climb the ladder of fitness success. The company’s owner says Robert Downey Jr. used it to get in shape for the movie Iron Man.

“It would go as fast as you want it to. So colleges use it to train their athletes in interval training, high intensity interval training.”

They are all about 30,000 health clubs in the US with annual revenues approaching 20 billion dollars. You can expect to see all this new equipment at a local health club near you coming up later this year.
