这位叫阿曼达的美国女歌手知道的人肯定不多，但去问一问资深的发烧友，他们肯定对她如数家珍。阿曼达一直和小型唱片公司合作，录音不多，但张张精彩，制作认真，每一款几乎都是音响玩家的最爱。
这位长相极具古典气质的女歌手，已有一把年纪了，风姿绰绰，俨然一个贵妇。据说，生活中她真的是一个很有钱的富婆，唱歌录音只是兴之所致，不急吼吼地想出名，但她的唱功一点都不输给那些红得发紫的大牌，且每一首都有极高的可听性，所以，国外的一些富门显赫常会在私人的派对中拿她的唱片来播，以体现品位。
这首歌曲是选自阿曼达在一家叫“壁虎”的小公司里录的仅有两张专辑中的一张，歌名叫做“让我成为一只夜莺吧”。而她的歌声真的如黄莺出谷，美到不可方物。录音体现出极级水准，音场和空间感无尽地大，要听“口水声”的朋友又要从座椅上跳起来了。
