1.It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart.
真是神奇你竟能说中我的心意。这里是it作形式主语的用法。真正的主语是后面的从句how you can speak right to my heart.按照正常说法应该是How you can speak right to my heart is amazing.在英语语法中，作为形式主语的it并无实际语义，只是为满足语法上的需要，避免句子头重脚轻，它代替的是句子的逻辑主语。又如:It is extremely² obvious that she has been lying about her identity³.关于身份问题，很明显她一直在撒谎。
概括起来it作逻辑主语的情况有三种：作从句的主语（如上面的例子）；代替不定式作主语；代替动名词做主语。
eg:
It is my pleasure to address the meeting.（代替不定式作主语）=To address the meeting is my pleasure.在会议上发言是我的荣幸。
It is no good reading in dim⁴ light.（代替动名词作主语）=Reading in dim light is no good.在昏暗的灯光下看书不好。

这里简单提一下感官动词(hear,see,watch,notice,observe,catch,etc)的用法hear sb talking与hear sb talk的区别在于，前者强调动作正在进行，后者强调动作的全过程。
out loud:大声地；
I almost laughed out loud.我几乎笑出声来；Please read the letter out loud.请把信大声念出来。
loud and clear:清楚明白
The message is coming through loud and clear.消息传达得清楚明白。

4.When you hold me near,you drown out the crowd.
当你将我拥入怀中，所有尘世的喧嚣都会远去。
drown out sth/sb:压住；淹没
The music drowned out the noise from next door.音乐声盖住了隔壁的吵闹声。

5.Old Mr Webster could never define what's being said between your heart and mine.
就连韦氏字典都不能定义你我心底的交流。
这里的Old Mr Webster指的是韦氏字典：就连老Webster先生也无法解释。
what's being said between your heart and mine这里是被动式的现在进行时态。再如，A new railway is now being built.一条新铁路正在修建。
