我太紧张以至于说不出话来。

so... that...句型中的so是副词，常常用来修饰形容词或副词，意思是“如此/这么...以致于...”
常用句型为so+adj/adv. + that从句。
The boy ran so fast that I couldn't catch him. 男孩跑得太快，我追不上。
He was so angry that he couldn't say a word. 他气得一句话也说不出来了。

so that可以引导结果状语从句，也可以引导目的状语从句。I got so nervous (that)I couldn't speak.是so...that做结果状语的用法。
