听到这首歌想到曾经听过的这样一段话：“没有人会特意变心的。他喜欢你的时候是真心喜欢你的，同样地，他不喜欢你的时候也是真心地不喜欢你了。”喜欢一个人是不是有一个期限？在一起的时间和感情累积到最后，“不再爱你”这样一句实话却无法说出口。而这首歌却轻描淡写地说出了心里话，似乎得到了解脱，但彼此都伤痕累累……对这份感情及对方都充满了歉意，埋葬了一段感情……

1981年5月5日出生于英国南安普敦的Craig David受到父亲的影响，从小就开始接触音乐。当时的他钟情于Stevie Wonder、Terence Trent D’Arby和 Michael Jackson等流行乐界的前辈，他的才华也开始渐渐展露出来。早在中学时代，他的笔记本中就密密麻麻地写下了由他自己创作的词曲，并在 16 岁那年赢得全国作曲比赛大奖。怀着对音乐的热爱，他加入了PCRS 106.5FM电台，并在一些小型的Club中担任DJ，而这些经历正为他以后的成功奠定了坚实的基础。
