Now let's turn to some news on Beijing's 2022 winter Olympic bid. We are less than two months away from finding out if Beijing will become the first city to host both a Summer and Winter Games.

 

The Olympic evaluation¹ commission has released a report, which outlines the challenges of hosting the event for both candidate cities, the other being Kazakhstan's Almaty. The document discusses China's 2008 Olympic legacy², like the Bird's Nest stadium.

 

The winning city will be elected at the 128th IOC Session in Kuala Lumpur on July 31st, following a final presentation by the candidates to the full IOC panel.
