The One With the Baby on the Bus

本集简介：

Ben always cries when he's near Monica. Ross has an allergic reaction to Monica's Kiwi Lime Pie; his tongue swells up and he has to go to the hospital. Chandler and Joey take care of Ben for the day, but accidentally leave him on a city bus while meeting women. They retrieve him from Human Services, but are a little unsure whether they've got the right baby. Phoebe is displaced when Terry, the manager of Central Perk, hires Stephanie, a professional singer, to play at the coffee house. Rachel arranges for Phoebe to play after Stephanie, but Phoebe feels slighted because, unlike Stephanie, she won't be getting paid. She becomes a street musician, outside Central Perk.

后来他们到失婴招领处领回一个宝宝，却无法确认是本。当小孩在莫妮卡怀里哭闹起来，他们才松了口气。菲比丢了工作，中央咖啡馆的泰瑞经理找来职业歌手史蒂芬尼驻唱，取代了菲比的位置。瑞秋点唱菲比的臭臭猫来安慰她。菲比到街边卖唱。

故事梗概

 Ross吃过Monica做的猕猴桃酸橙派(kiwi lime pie)后出现过敏反应， 因为Ross对猕猴挑过敏(allergic to kiwi)，原来他对龙虾(lobster)和花(peanuts)还过敏，真是不好伺候啊。这一过敏不要紧，他一下子变成了大舌头(a lig tongue)，用自己的话来说，Either the is tongue swelling up or his mouth is getting smallen．还开玩笑，看来舌头是太大了，嘴都放不下了。

莫妮卡决定带Ross上医院打针，这吓坏了Ross象个孩子似的先是找借口不去医院，去了后想办法不打针，打针时紧紧攥住Monica不放手，害得Monica骨头受伤(bone bruise)……

 Scene: The Hospital, Ross and Monica are waiting for the doctor.]

Ross: Well, there's no way I'm gonna get a shot. Maybe they can take the needle and thquirt it into my mouth, you know, like a thquirt gun.

Doctor: (entering) Hello, there. I'm Dr. Carlin. I see someone's having an allergic reaction.

Monica: Doctor, can I see you for just a minute please? My brother has a slight phobia about needles.

Ross: (to Monica) Did you tell him about my thquirt gun idea?

Monica: My brother, the PhD would like to know if there's any way to treat this orally.

Doctor: No, under these circumstances it has to be an injection, and it has to be now.
