Thousands gathered in Washington D.C. over the three day period ending Monday to pay tribute¹ to the men and women who sacrificed their lives in wars past and present. On Memorial Day, some prayed in silence while others gathered at the Vietnam Veterans² Memorial Wall to remember the sacrifice of friends and loved ones and heroes they will never forget. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
