 I'm happy to consider all options, all alternatives that they're looking at. The things that I will not consider are a 30-day or a  60-day or a 90-day or a 180-day temporary stop gap resolution to this problem. Our proud tradition of journalism², which for centuries has bravely held those in positions of power to account, were shaken by the revelation of what we now know to have happened at the News of the World. The perpetrators of those acts not only broke the law, they prayed on the grief of families who had lost loved ones either as a result of foul³ murders or giving their life for their country. I hope the law shows no mercy on those responsible and no mercy on any managers who condoned⁴ such appalling⁵ behavior.
