英语语法：被动语态的概念及其时态

语态是谓语的一种形式，当主语是动作的执行者时，动词用主动语态，若主语与谓语是被动关系，则动词用被动语态：
Everybody respects him．
大家都尊敬他。(主动语态)
He is respected by everybody．
他受到大家的尊敬。(被动语态)
被动语态由“be+过去分词”构成，时态由be的各种形式表现出来：
1一般现在时：
What is it called?
它叫什么名宁?
Oranges are grown on these hills.
这些小山上种有橘子树。
2一般过去时：
He was born in Shanghai．
他是在上海出生的。
They were pleased by these words．
听了这些话他们很高兴。
3一般将来时：
Who will be sent to work there?
将派谁去那里工作?
Shall we be invited to the party?
要邀请我们参加晚会吗?
4．现在进行时：
这案了正在调查。
These problems are being discussed.
这些问题正在讨论。
5.现在完成时：
It has been translated into many languages．
这书被译成了许多语言。
Has anybody been hurt?
有谁受伤了吗?
6.过去进行时：
那时路正在加宽。
A party was being held in the next room.
隔壁房间正在开晚会。
7.过去完成时：
他说会议延期了。
I didn’t know he had been fired．
我不知道他被解雇了。
还有一些时态用被动语态的时候比较少，有些时态没有被动语态。
