　　“超级富翁”指的是有非常多的财富，但数额并不确切的富豪。他们的财富通常不可计数。

　　The word millionaire has been used in English to designate¹ a person who is worth a million pounds or dollars, depending on the side of the ocean, since 1786. We borrowed the word straight from the French, whose millions, of course, were in francs.

　　“百万富翁”(millionaire)1786年出现在英语词汇中，用来指身价百万英镑或美元的人，货币单位取决于在英国还是美国。这个词来自法语，最初指的是百万法郎。

　　Millionaire eventually no longer sufficed², and English speakers coined billionaire in 1844. Soon afterwards came multimillionaire, followed by multibillionaire in the early 1900s.
