不定代词－all,both的用法

1、all代表或修饰两个以上的人可事物，或不可数的东西。可以做主语，宾语、表语、同位语和定语。
例：All of us like to eat potato
chips1.（做主语）
＝We all like to eat potato chips.(做同位语)
2、both是指“两者都……”，可以做主语、宾语、同位语和定语；而all是指“三个或三个以上的人或物都…..”，在用时注意它们的区别。
例：They were all waiting out
side2 the gate.
注意：
a)”all of +人称代词宾格”中的of不能省略，即all的后面不能直接跟人称代词。
b)all,both的位置和频度副词一样，放在be动词、情态动词及助动词后；如有多个助动词，则放在第一个助动词后，以及一般动词（实义动词）前。
