For the first time, scientists have used gene¹ therapy to dramatically improve sight in people with a rare, inherited form of blindness. Researchers in Philadelphia and London are calling the results a milestone². During the experimental therapy faulty genes³ are replaced with normal ones. VOA's Robert Raffaele has the story.
