1. It's been called the deadliest shooting rampage in the country's history. At least 30 people were killed when a man opened fire in a Virginia Tech dorm and then in an academic building before he was killed. So far investigators have not offered any motive for the attack.

2. President Bush says he is saddenedand horrified by the attack. Speaking this afternoon from the White House, the president offered his thoughts and prayers to the victims.

3. Residents in the Northeast are doing their best to drive out after a massive nor'easter moved through this weekend. Some areas got hit with more than 8 inches of rain, causing widespread flooding. The situation was made worse by winds that gusted up to 80 miles per hour.

4. Robert Cheruiyot has done it again. The Kenyan ran away with a Boston Marathon title for the second year in a row. He defied rather tough weather conditions to win the race in a time of 2 hours 14 minutes and 13 seconds.
