1. Officials in Somalia say the Prime Minister has survived a suicide bombing. The attack struck just outside his home in Mogadishu. At least five people were killed in the bombing which some in the government blamed on an al-Qaeda-linked group.

2. A strong earthquake in China has killed at least three people and injured nearly 300. The Xinhua news agency says rescue teams with thousands of tents, quilts and other relief supplies have been rushed to the area.

3. One child remains hospitalized after a woman ploughed her car through a church street festival, injuring dozens. The incident took place last night in the nation's capital. Authorities say the woman was going 70 miles per hour at the time.

4. Here's a man with a bottomless stomach. Joey Chestnut set a world record when he consumed 59.5 hotdogs and buns in just 12 minutes. The California student will now try to save some room for July 4th when he competes in the World Championships of Hotdog Eating.
