Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet world tour has made more than 400 million dollars, making it the highest grossing tour ever for a solo artist. The Material Girl played her last gig on Wednesday in Israel after performing in 32 countries. She played 85 shows and set an attendance record for the biggest crowd in history in Zurich, Switzerland.

At Cormac McCarthy’s haunting vision of the desolated¹ post-apocalyptic world in The Road has made it to the big screen. In an equally bleak² film, Viggo Mortensen stars as a father struggling to keep his son alive. It’s premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
