 The repeal¹ of the carbon tax is expected to have a positive impact on inflation. Official figures out today are predicted to show a sharp fall in the Consumer Price Index. 

 

Now world economists² are predicting a slight rise in the September quarter. They expect the annual rate will drop to 2.3%. 

 

Foreign companies are angry about moves by Telstra to increase what it can charge for access to its network. 

 

Optus' 4G network warned consumers will pay more if Telstra's latter increase wholesale³ routs⁴ right to finalize⁵ by just over 7%. Our consumer affairs reporter Amy B. just explains.
