A Sydney man and teenage boy are in custody¹ for allegedly trying to breach² foreign fighter laws. Counter terror police arrested 24-year-old Mehmet Biber and a 17-year-old boy during raids this morning. Biber allegedly travelled to Syria in July 2013 to fight alongside Al Qaeda affiliate³, Jabhat al Nusra. The teenager is accused of trying to travel to Syria.
